Sook is a fair trade collaboration between the women of the Linyough Women’s Development Center in Chepnyal, Kenya, the Daughters of Charity, and Vincentian Lay Missonaries. Sook creates employment for 1st payday loan interest free 35 women who lacked employment or had inconsistent employment. Sook creates jobs allowing women to earn an income to afford their children’s education fees, provide food for their family, and have additional income for other expenses, such as medicine, doctor’s visits or other needs.
