Train a Teacher
One of the biggest challenges in this remote region is having enough qualified teachers to meet the demand for education. In many cases, high school graduates with no formal training are relied upon as teachers. With your support these teachers can go through a formal training program and receive government certification. This benefits the students, teachers, and community all at once.
That is why we need your help to train more local teachers. Typically this costs $1,000 USD. Our goal this year is to train 5 new teachers.
